Antilimit
An antilimit is a way to assign a value to a divergent series, similar to how a limit works for a convergent series. It uses a formula that describes the series and evaluates it beyond the usual range where the series converges. Because different formulas can fit the same terms, the antilimit isn’t always unique or well defined. It is a concept in mathematical analysis.
