Klovn (Clown) is a Danish sitcom created by Casper Christensen and Frank Hvam. It stars Hvam and Christensen, with Mia Lyhne and Iben Hjejle, and aired on TV2 Zulu from 2005 to 2018. The show follows the ordinary and awkward lives of Frank and his friend Casper as they stumble through quiet, embarrassing social moments with friends, family and celebrities. The humor is largely improvised and presented in a realistic style, similar to Curb Your Enthusiasm. Each episode runs about 25 minutes. The series also spawned films: Klown (2010) with a new plot, Klown Forever (2015), and Klovn the Final (2020).
