Anentome spinosa is a freshwater snail with an operculum. It belongs to the family Nassariidae, subfamily Anentominae, and its scientific name is Anentome spinosa (Temcharoen, 1971). Synonyms include Clea spinosa and Clea (Anentome) spinosa Temcharoen, 1971.

Conservation status: Data Deficient (IUCN 3.1).

Habitat and range: Southeast Asia, known from a small area along the Mekong River between Khong Island in Laos and Ban Dan Ky in Cambodia, covering less than 50 square kilometers.

Diet: Carnivorous, feeding on worms and other snails; it can ambush prey by burying itself.

Reproduction: There are separate male and female individuals; they look alike, and mating lasts about 8–12 hours; they do not change sex.
