Andrew Speroff
Andrew Speroff (born May 19, 1988) is an American former pair skater. He was born in Newark, New Jersey, and grew up in Cleveland until he was ten, then moved to Colorado Springs and later Newton, Massachusetts. He began skating at eight and started competing in pairs at thirteen with Rachael Flatt. He faced injuries early on, including stress fractures in his lower back in 2001 and nerve damage in his shoulder in 2004, and skate with Ariel Avant, Amanda Luchau, and Brittany Chase before teaming up with Gretchen Donlan in 2009.
Coach Bobby Martin paired Speroff with Donlan, and they trained in Boston. The pair made their international debut at the 2010 Nebelhorn Trophy, finishing fourth, and placed eighth at the 2011 U.S. Championships. They won the pewter medal at the 2012 U.S. Championships and earned a spot on the 2012 Skate America Grand Prix, where they finished sixth. They also won silver at the 2012 Ice Challenge and gold at the 2013 Ondrej Nepela Trophy and the 2013 Ice Challenge.
Speroff retired from competition in 2014 and later skated on cruise ships with partner Kylie Duarte. He and Duarte married on October 8, 2018, and Speroff holds a degree in sports management.
