Anchor portal
An anchor portal, also called an H-frame tower, is a gantry that supports overhead power lines in a switchyard. It acts like a dead-end structure, anchoring and guiding the lines as they change direction. Anchor portals are usually made of steel, either hollow steel tubes or a steel-frame construction.
