Mustafa Polutak
Mustafa Polutak (born January 1, 1946) is a former Bosnian Army officer who fought in the Bosnian War. He was born in Goražde, then part of Yugoslavia. He studied at military academies in Belgrade and Sarajevo from 1966 to 1970, focusing on ordnance, and later completed the Command and Staff Academy in Belgrade (1980–1982). He achieved the rank of Brigadier General. His service spanned the Yugoslav People's Army (1970–1992), the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (1992–1997), and the Army of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (1997–2000), where he commanded. Polutak also led the Association for the Protection of the achievements of the struggle for Bosnia and Herzegovina, published several articles in the journal KORAK, and wrote the book Kako smo branili Bosnu i Hercegovinu (How we defended Bosnia and Herzegovina).
