American Women's League Chapter House (Peck, Idaho)
American Women's League Chapter House in Peck, Idaho, was built in 1909. It was designed in a Prairie School style by Helfensteller, Hirsch & Watson of St. Louis. The house sits on a small lot of less than an acre at 217 North Main Street in Peck, Nez Perce County. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 4, 1986, with the reference number 86002158. The building is an almost unchanged example of AWL architecture and is the only surviving AWL chapter house in Idaho. It is valued for its connection to the AWL movement and for its role as a local center of social and educational activities.
