American Latino TV
American Latino TV is a nationally syndicated magazine-style TV show from American Latino Syndication, part of LATV Networks. It airs weekly and focuses on American and foreign-born Latinos who are making a positive impact. Each half-hour episode has about 24 minutes of content, with 4–5 short segments about music, fashion, culture, celebrity interviews, and inspirational stories.
The program has featured many hosts over the years, including Liza Quin, Belqui Ortiz, Stephanie Ortiz, Jeannette Sandoval, Julian Dujarric, Daisy Fuentes, Valery Ortiz, and currently Carolina Trejos (since 2019). It reaches audiences in more than 100 cities and across a large share of U.S. Hispanic homes, with reruns on cable networks. Segments are also available online, and the show is broadcast in Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and parts of Canada.
American Latino TV began as Urban Latino TV and was produced by AIM Tell-A-Vision Group in New York. AIM TV helped create English-language programming for U.S.-born Latinos starting in 2001. In January 2008, LATV Networks acquired the show and its brand. Production moved to Los Angeles, where new episodes continue. The show’s syndication division, American Latino Syndication, operates under LATV with offices in New York City and Los Angeles.
