Isturgia pulinda is a moth in the Geometridae family. It was first described by Francis Walker in 1860. The species has a wide distribution, found across many African countries (Botswana, Ethiopia, The Gambia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe) and extending to Saudi Arabia, Yemen, the Indian subcontinent, and Sri Lanka. In Europe, it occurs in the Canary Islands, Spain, Portugal, and Cape Verde. The caterpillars feed on Acacia species, including Acacia tortilis, Acacia hirtella, Acacia nilotica, Acacia cyanophylla, and Acacia karoo. Pupation happens in a cocoon made from leaf litter. Binomial name Isturgia pulinda (Walker, 1860). Synonym: Tephrina pulinda (Walker, 1860).
