Deniz Doğan (born 20 October 1979) is a Turkish-German football coach and former player who currently works as a playing assistant for Eintracht Braunschweig II. Born in Lübeck, West Germany, he played as a defender. Doğan started his professional career with VfL Osnabrück in 2003 in the 2. Bundesliga, later moving to VfB Lübeck. In 2007 he joined Eintracht Braunschweig, where he spent eight seasons and wore the number 8. He helped Braunschweig win promotion to the 2. Bundesliga in 2011 and to the Bundesliga in 2013, making his top-flight debut on 10 August 2013 against Werder Bremen. Doğan retired from professional football at the end of the 2014–15 season. For 2015–16 he became playing‑assistant for Braunschweig II, and in October 2015 he briefly returned to the first team due to injuries. He is the brother of Hüseyin Doğan, a former defender for SV Meppen.
