Amado Ursua, born September 13, 1956, in Mexico City, is a Mexican former professional boxer who fought in the light flyweight division. He stood 1.65 meters tall, fought orthodox, and had a reach of 180 cm. In 55 pro fights, he won 34 (25 by knockout) and lost 21.

Ursua won the Mexican National Light Flyweight title by defeating German Torres in a 12th-round decision. He captured the WBC Light Flyweight title on February 6, 1982, in Panama City, by knocking out Hilario Zapata in the second round. He later lost the WBC title in Tokyo to Tadashi Tomori in a controversial 15-round majority decision.
