Alto Adige in the Heart
Alto Adige in the Heart (L'Alto Adige nel Cuore, AAC) was a right-wing, national-conservative party active in South Tyrol, Italy. It aimed to represent the Italian-speaking community in Alto Adige. The party was led by Alessandro Urzì and founded in January 2013 after breaking away from The People of Freedom (PdL), a major centre-right party. Urzì had previously been a member of conservative groups including the Italian Social Movement and National Alliance; in June 2013 he brought in Maurizio Vezzali, another dissident from PdL.
In the 2013 provincial election AAC won 2.1% of the vote, and Urzì was re-elected to the Provincial Council. In the run-up to the 2018 general election, AAC aligned with Brothers of Italy at the national level. On 6 July 2020 the party merged into Brothers of Italy.
