Meddie "Kabona" Sebyala is a Ugandan professional middleweight boxer. He turned pro in April 2007 and, by August 2024, had about 38 fights with 22 wins, 15 losses and 1 draw. He is a former Global Boxing Federation Africa Middleweight Champion, winning the title in August 2022 by stopping Nelson Mangala of the DR Congo in the third round at Club Obligato in Kampala. In January 2024 he defeated Tanzanian Majdi Ahmed Suleman by technical knockout. On 10 August 2024, he beat Malawian Charles Misanjo in the main event at Club Obligato, securing a second-round technical knockout. The media describe him as disciplined and durable, with a no-nonsense approach and strong fitness. He is known for sharp jabs and body combinations, which helped him against opponents like Misanjo.
