Aliceia okutanii is a small species of sea snail in the family Raphitomidae. It belongs to the genus Aliceia and was described in 2007 by Sasaki and Warén after being found near Japan’s Ogasawara Islands. The shell grows to about 4.9 mm in length and is notably long for micromolluscs, with a multispiral pattern and a left-handed (sinistral) coil. It occurs off the coast of Japan and, like other micromolluscs, is rare with only a few specimens collected. Taxonomy: Kingdom Animalia; Phylum Mollusca; Class Gastropoda; Subclass Caenogastropoda; Order Neogastropoda; Superfamily Conoidea; Family Raphitomidae; Genus Aliceia; Species okutanii. Binomial name: Aliceia okutanii. References include Sasaki & Warén (2007) describing the new species and World Register of Marine Species (WoRMS).
