Ali Akbar Qasimi

Ali Akbar Qasimi (Dari: علی‌اکبر قاسمی), born 1954 in Nawur District, Ghazni Province, Afghanistan, is a Hazara. In 2005, he was elected to Afghanistan's Wolesi Jirga (the lower house of the National Assembly) to represent Ghazni Province. He is a general in the Afghan National Army and formerly commanded the 14th Division based in Ghazni.
