Alexia Moyano is an Argentine actress born on February 15, 1982, in Comandante Luis Piedrabuena, Argentina. She moved to Buenos Aires at 16 to study theatre, training at the University of Buenos Aires with Virginia Lago. Her first stage role was Maria Josefa in a school production of The House of Bernarda Alba. She graduated in 2005 with honors in Business Administration but chose acting as her career, continuing her training with Helena Tritek. She earned a postgraduate diploma in classical acting from LAMDA (2009–2010) and studied Commedia dell’arte with Marcello Magni. She also studied French and attended the Conservatoire national supérieur d’art dramatique in Paris (2012–2013).

Moyano works in theatre, film, and television across Spanish, English, and French. She co-starred in Filosofia de vida and was nominated for an ACE Award for Revelation Actress. In 2014 she performed at Teatro Nacional Cervantes in Bisnietas. Her film credits include Verdades verdaderas (2011), Extraños en la noche (2012), La cacería (2012), and Tiempos menos modernos (2012). In 2015 she starred in The Irish Prisoner (El prisionero irlandés) and made her English-language film debut in Colonia. She later appeared in Palau the Movie (2019) asLuis Palau’s mother and in My Penguin Friend (2024) as Adriana. On TV, she has appeared in Babylon, Signos, Milagros en Campaña, Supermax, Monzón: A Knockout Blow, El reino, and Limbo.
