1992–93 LSU Tigers basketball team
The 1992–93 LSU Tigers men's basketball team represented Louisiana State University in the 1992–93 season. Led by head coach Dale Brown (his 21st year) and assistant coaches Johnny Jones and Bob Starkey, the team played in the Southeastern Conference West Division at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. LSU finished 22–11 overall and 9–7 in the SEC, placing second in the SEC West. They made a strong run to the SEC Tournament final and earned an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament as the 11th seed in the Midwest region, but lost in the first round to California. This would be Brown’s last season taking LSU to the NCAA Tournament after ten straight appearances.
