Alenatea
Alenatea is a small genus of Asian orb-weaver spiders in the family Araneidae. It was first described in 1999 by D. X. Song, Ming-Sheng Zhu and J. Chen. The genus has three species:
- Alenatea fuscocolorata (Bösenberg & Strand, 1906) — China, Korea, Taiwan, Japan (type species)
- Alenatea touxie Song & Zhu, 1999 — China
- Alenatea wangi Zhu & Song, 1999 — China
These spiders are native to East Asia.
