Calaceite, called Calaceit in Catalan, is a town in the Matarraña area of Teruel province in Aragon, Spain. It covers 81 square kilometers and sits about 511 meters above sea level. As of 2025, around 961 people live there. The town is in a Catalan-speaking part of Aragon and has many old buildings, plus the ruins of an ancient Iberian village at San Antonio. A local specialty is the flaonets de Calaceit—small pastries filled with pumpkin jam and honey—memorable to painter Salvador Dalí.
