Agerola is a small town in Campania, Italy, near the Amalfi Coast. It sits about 35 kilometers southeast of Naples and is part of the Metropolitan City of Naples. The municipality includes the villages of Bomerano, Campora, Pianillo (the communal seat), Ponte, San Lazzaro, and Santa Maria. It borders Furore, Gragnano, Pimonte, Positano, Praiano, and Scala.

Agerola covers 19.6 square kilometers and sits about 630 meters above sea level. As of 30 April 2017, the population was 7,708, with a density of roughly 393 people per square kilometer. Residents are called Agerolesi, and in the Neapolitan language the town is known as Ajërl. The postal code is 80051 and the telephone area code is 081. The mayor is Tommaso Naclerio.
