Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami
Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami (Salute of 21 Guns) is a 2014 Indian Hindi satire directed by Ravindra Gautam and produced by Saurabh Tewari and Abhinav Shukla for Nautanki Films. The film stars Anupam Kher, Divyendu Sharma, Manu Rishi, Aditi Sharma, Rajesh Sharma, and Neha Dhupia. It released in India on 10 October 2014 and runs for 140 minutes.
The story follows two sons, Shekhar and Subhash Joshi, who try to give their honest father, Purushottam Joshi, the ultimate sign of respect he never received—a 21-gun salute. The movie blends humor with a social message about honesty and respect.
The soundtrack, by Ram Sampath with lyrics by Sandeep Nath, features five songs and was released on 23 September 2014. The film earned about ₹1.58 crore at the box office.
Reception was mixed: some critics praised the message and performances, while others criticized pacing and execution.
