Agaricus bresadolanus
Agaricus bresadolanus, or the parkland mushroom, is a rare fungus in the Agaricus genus. It was described by Hungarian mycologist Gábor Bohus in 1969. The spores are ellipsoid and lack a germ pore, measuring about 5.5–7.5 by 4.0–5.0 micrometers. This species is found in Asia and southern Europe, fruiting alone or in small groups along paths and in grassy areas of deciduous woodland. It is generally considered edible, but there have been a few reports of severe stomach pain after eating, so it might be somewhat poisonous for some people.
