African Society of Hypertension Initiative

The African Society of Hypertension (AfSoH) Initiative is an international effort to create a stable, organized platform in Africa for exchanging scientific knowledge on arterial hypertension. It started in 2010, led by Marc Twagirumukiza, a group of health professionals and researchers across Africa. Membership is by registration. The society holds biannual meetings in different African cities and runs summer schools. Its research work is organized through several task forces.
