The Midnight Ghost Train was an American rock band formed in 2008. Their music mixed stoner rock, hard rock, and blues-influenced rock. The last lineup was Steve Moss (guitar and vocals), Brandon Burghart (drums), and Mike Boyne (bass). They toured the U.S. and Europe for years and were known for their high-energy live shows. They released several albums on Karate Body and Napalm Records, including:

- Johnny Boy EP (2008)
- The Midnight Ghost Train (2009)
- Buffalo (2012) – recorded in analog in Athens, Georgia
- Live at Roadburn 2013 (2013)
- Cold Was The Ground (2015)
- Cypress Ave. (2017) – features a hip-hop track with Sonny Cheeba

The band went through lineup changes after losing their bass player, before settling with Boyne. They played major festivals such as Hellfest and Graspop. In 2018 they began an open-ended hiatus to focus on family, though they have played occasional shows since. The Midnight Ghost Train is often described as hard rock with blues influences, and they are compared to Kyuss, Black Sabbath, and Clutch.
