Abi Masatora, born Kosuke Horikiri on May 4, 1994, is a Japanese sumo wrestler from Koshigaya, Saitama. He began his professional career in May 2013 with Shikoroyama stable and rose through the ranks, reaching the top division (makuuchi) in January 2018. He has earned five kinboshi (upset victories over yokozuna) and several special prizes, including four Fighting Spirit awards and one Outstanding Performance award. His highest rank was sekiwake, reached in March 2022, and he won his first top-division championship in November 2022 after a three-way playoff.

Abi faced a setback in 2020 when he was disciplined by the Japan Sumo Association for social media-related missteps, receiving a three-tournament ban but later returning to competition in 2021. After his comeback, he posted strong results, including consecutive runner-up finishes, and went on to win the 2022 Kyushu tournament title.

Personal life: He married in June 2020 and has one daughter.

Fighting style: Abi is a tsuki-oshi specialist, focusing on pushing and slapping rather than belt wrestling. His common techniques are oshi-dashi (push out), tsuki-dashi (thrust out), and hataki-komi (slap down). He is known for his aggressive pushing attacks and has sometimes used henka (a sidestep) at the start of a bout, which has drawn criticism.
