32 Tauri is a solitary star in the zodiac constellation Taurus. It has an apparent magnitude of about 5.6, making it barely visible to the naked eye from suburban skies. Because it lies near the ecliptic, the Moon can occult it from time to time.

The star is about 144 light-years away and is moving away from us at roughly 32 km/s. About 759,000 years ago it came as close as around 89 light-years.

Its spectrum is F2IVs, a hot, white-hued subgiant that is evolving toward the giant phase. It has about 2.0 solar masses and about 2.8 solar radii, and it shines roughly 15 times brighter than the Sun. The surface temperature is about 6900 K. Its metal content is slightly below solar, with [Fe/H] ≈ −0.19. Surface gravity is log g ≈ 3.87. The star rotates with a projected velocity of about 20 km/s. It is about 2.1 billion years old.
