What it’s like
- The district is a coherent field of low, plain adobe houses set close to the street, from different periods including some railroad-era homes.
- South Pacific Street was an early busy route, so many early buildings have little setback and date to Las Vegas’s earliest years.
- The district’s boundaries protect its character, and together with the nearby Old Town Residential Historic District it represents most of Las Vegas’s historic adobe core.
