30th Michigan Infantry Regiment
The 30th Michigan Infantry was a Union Army unit in the American Civil War. It was organized in Detroit and mustered into service on January 9, 1865. The regiment served as a guard along the Detroit and St. Clair Rivers near the Canadian border and did not fight in any battles. It was discharged on June 30, 1865. A total of 18 enlisted men died, all from disease.
