The 2024–25 St. Lawrence Saints men’s ice hockey season was the program’s 85th season and 64th in ECAC Hockey. They played at Appleton Arena and were led by head coach Brent Brekke in his sixth year. Team captains were Drake Burgin, Philippe Chapleau, Ty Naaykens and Mason Waite.

Record and basics
- Overall: 9–24–2
- ECAC: 5–15–2
- Home: 7–9–0
- Road: 2–13–2
- Neutral: 0–2–0

Season arc
- The Saints started well, winning four of their first six games. Offense was solid early, averaging more than 3 goals per game, and goaltender Mason Kucenski posted a .930 save percentage in the opening weeks.
- Trouble followed as they faced tougher competition. They hit a nine-game losing streak, scoring only eight goals in that stretch and dropping near the bottom of national rankings.
- Midseason roster change: leading scorer Tomáš Mazura left after the fall semester to pursue a professional opportunity. Caden Casey joined as a replacement, but the offense remained stagnant, finishing last in the ECAC and among the worst in the nation.
- By December they were effectively out of the playoff race, though they still had moments of note. The Saints upset three ranked teams after winter break—Dartmouth (#13), Clarkson, and Cornell—which tangled those teams in the tournament bubble and helped keep their own postseason hopes alive for a time.
- The season ended with a four-game losing streak entering the postseason.

Playoffs
- In the first round, St. Lawrence faced Dartmouth. The Saints were defeated 6–2, ending their season. Despite a late-season spark, the team could not overcome the Green’s offense, and goaltender Kucenski allowed four goals on 37 shots, with two empty-net goals sealing the win for Dartmouth.
