2018 Under 21 Women's Australian Hockey Championships
The 2018 Women’s Under 21 Australian Championships was a field hockey tournament held in Sydney, Australia, from July 4 to July 11, 2018. Eight teams competed at the Sydney Olympic Park venues.
New South Wales won the title, defeating Queensland 2–1 in the final. Victoria finished in third place after beating South Australia 4–2 in the bronze medal match.
Format and results: The teams were split into two pools, Pool A and Pool B, with four teams in each, playing a round-robin. After the pool stage, teams moved to the quarterfinals; the winners progressed to the medal rounds, while the losers played for 5th–8th places.
There were 24 matches in total, with 100 goals scored (an average of 4.17 per match). The top scorer was Rebecca Greiner with seven goals.
