Portland Timbers 2015 season

The Timbers, led by president Merritt Paulson and head coach Caleb Porter, played their home games at Providence Park in Portland, Oregon (capacity 21,144).

In MLS, Portland finished third in the Western Conference and fifth overall in the regular season. They went on to win the MLS Cup, claiming their first league title. In the U.S. Open Cup, they reached the fifth round.

Fanendo Adi was the club’s top scorer, with 16 goals in league play and 18 in all competitions.

Attendance remained strong, averaging 21,144 fans for regular-season home games.

The team also competes for the Cascadia Cup against Seattle and Vancouver, but there were no friendly matches in 2015.
