Achelonia is an extinct marine turtle from the Late Jurassic period. Its main species is Achelonia formosa. Fossils have been found in Wattendorf, Germany; Cerin, France; and in England. Achelonia belongs to a group of sea turtles called Thalassochelydia, in the family Eurysternidae.

In England, some bones were once thought to belong to a different turtle named Enaliochelys chelonia, described by Seeley in 1869. In 2020, scientists determined that Enaliochelys chelonia is actually the same species as Achelonia formosa.
