2013 KNSB Dutch Single Distance Championships – Men's 5000 m

The men's 5000-meter race was held at Thialf in Heerenveen on Friday, 9 November 2012. Although the event took place in 2012, it was part of the 2012–2013 speed skating season. Twenty skaters competed.

Winner: Sven Kramer (Netherlands) finished first with a time of 6:17.46.
