2012 Dalian Aerbin F.C. season

Dalian Aerbin F.C. had their third season in 2012, and their first in the Chinese Super League after finishing first in the 2011 China League One. Chairman: Li Ming.

The team began the season with Korean coach Chang Woe-Ryong on a three-year contract, hoping his counterattacking style would help. He resigned in April and was replaced by Aleksandar Stanojević on 4 April.

Aerbin finished 5th in the Super League and did not qualify for the AFC Champions League. In the FA Cup, they reached the quarter-finals. The top scorer was Peter Utaka with 20 goals. Home games were at Jinzhou Stadium, with attendance ranging from 7,954 to 25,791 and an average of 15,774 per game.
