2011–12 UAE Pro League
The 2011–12 UAE Pro League, known as the Etisalat Pro League for sponsorship reasons, was the 37th top‑level season in the UAE and the fourth since the league turned professional. Defending champions were Al Jazira, who had won their first Pro League title in 2010–11 after three straight runner‑ups. Ittihad Kalba and Al Dhafra were relegated from the previous season, while Ajman Club and Emirates Club were promoted from UAE Division 1. The season ran from 15 October 2011 to 27 May 2012.
Al Ain won the league, claiming their 10th title. Emirates Club and Sharjah were relegated. The top scorer was Asamoah Gyan with 22 goals. Across 132 matches, 449 goals were scored (about 3.4 per match). The biggest home win was Al Jazira defeating Sharjah 5–0. The biggest away wins included Emirates 1–5 Al Shabab and Al Wasl 2–6 Al Ahli; Al Jazira 1–5 Al Nasr was another notable away result. The highest-scoring match was Sharjah 4–5 Al Nasr, with nine goals in total. The highest attendance recorded was 21,455 at Al Jazira 1–3 Al Ain. The league also restricted foreign players to four per team.
