Norberto Massoni
Norberto Massoni (January 29, 1935 – April 27, 2010) was an Argentine lawyer and politician from Chubut Province. A member of the Radical Civic Union, he served as a senator for Chubut. He earned his law degree from the University of Buenos Aires in 1961. In the 1960s and 1970s he worked for public bodies in Chubut, including as director of the Bank of the Province of Chubut (1970–72) and as province minister of economy (1972–73). He returned to politics in 1984 as minister of culture and education (1984–85). Later he was education and justice minister (1995–99). He led the legal advisory team for the city of Comodoro Rivadavia (1999–2002) and was president of Banco del Chubut S.A. (2002–03). Massoni was elected to the Senate in 2003, and in 2005 he joined the Council of Magistracy of the Nation. His Senate term ended December 10, 2009.
