2010–11 ACF Fiorentina season
ACF Fiorentina’s 2010–11 season was the club’s 85th in Italian football and 73rd in Serie A, marking their sixth straight year in the top flight. After five years with Cesare Prandelli as manager, he left to coach Italy and Siniša Mihajlović took over. Fiorentina did not play in European competition for the first time in three seasons, finishing 11th the previous year and again missing Europe this season.
In 2010–11, Fiorentina finished 9th in Serie A and reached the Round of 16 in the Coppa Italia. Alberto Gilardino was the club’s top scorer with 12 goals in all competitions (12 in the league). The team spent about €17.1 million and earned around €1.3 million in income. The highest home attendance was 34,483 against Juventus on 17 April 2011, while the lowest was 4,904 against Reggina in the Coppa Italia on 30 November 2010. The average home league attendance was 23,608.
