Amsynth is an open-source, real-time software synthesizer for Linux. Written in C++, it runs on Linux/POSIX and is licensed under the GNU General Public License. The project site is amsynth.github.io and the repository is at github.com/Amsynth/Amsynth. Amsynth aims to emulate classic 1970s analog synths such as the Moog Minimoog and the Roland Juno-60. It has two main oscillators with five waveform options plus a noise source, and an LFO for vibrato effects. The stable release is 1.13.4, dated 2 May 2024.
