1994 Tour of the Basque Country

The 1994 Tour of the Basque Country was the 34th edition of the race. It took place from 4 to 8 April 1994, had five stages, and covered 868.8 km. The start was in Mondragón and the finish in Elosiaga. Swiss rider Tony Rominger, riding for Mapei–CLAS, won the race with a time of 23 hours, 25 minutes, and 4 seconds. Evgeni Berzin of Russia finished second (Gewiss–Ballan), and Claudio Chiappucci of Italy finished third (Carrera Jeans–Tassoni).
