Koumbia, Tuy, Burkina Faso
Koumbia is a town in southwestern Burkina Faso. It is the capital of the Koumbia rural municipality and the Koumbia Department in Tuy Province, Hauts-Bassins Region. The town is about 70 km east of Bobo-Dioulasso, along the N1 road to Ouagadougou, where the R25 regional road joins the N1. There is another, much smaller Koumbia in a different region, so don’t confuse them.
