1990 Winston 200 (Saugus)

The 1990 Winston 200 at Saugus Speedway was the third race of the NASCAR Winston West Series that year. It took place on June 16, 1990, at the 0.333-mile oval in Saugus, California. The 200-lap race covered about 66.6 miles and finished on schedule.

Bill Sedgwick won the pole with a track-record qualifying speed and led all 200 laps, earning his second win of the season. He finished about two seconds ahead of defending series champion Bill Schmitt. John Krebs finished third, followed by Robert Sprague and Hershel McGriff in the top five.

The race had an average speed of 55.788 mph. Saugus Speedway is a 1/3-mile oval on a 35-acre site. The track closed in 1995 and no longer hosts races.
