Norihiro Satsukawa
Norihiro Satsukawa (born April 18, 1972) is a Japanese football manager and former player. He was born in Shizuoka, Japan, and played as a defender.
Playing career
Satsukawa joined Yokohama Flügels in 1991 after graduating from Shimizu Commercial High School and spent eight seasons with the club, making 162 league appearances and scoring 1 goal. The Flügels won the Emperor’s Cup in 1993 and the Asian Cup Winners’ Cup in 1994–95, and were runners-up in the Emperor’s Cup in 1997. The club dissolved after the 1998 season due to financial problems, though they won the 1998 Emperor’s Cup. In 1999 he moved to Kashiwa Reysol, where he played as a left back and sometimes center back, totaling 161 league appearances with 1 goal. Reysol won the 1999 J.League Cup and finished third in the 1999 and 2000 J1 League seasons. In October 2003, Satsukawa broke his right leg and was out for about 10 months. He returned in 2004, but Reysol finished last in 2004 and faced relegation after the 2005 season, leading to his retirement.
Coaching career
Satsukawa began coaching at Kashiwa Reysol in 2007. In 2008 he joined AC Nagano Parceiro as a coach and became manager in 2010. He led Parceiro to promotion to the Japan Football League (JFL) in 2010 and to second place in 2011 and 2012. He then managed FC Ryukyu (2013–2015), guiding them to promotion to the J3 League in 2014. He later managed SC Sagamihara in 2016, Nara Club (2017–2018), Banditonce Kakogawa (2019), and SC Sagamihara again in 2022. He is the manager of Sakai Trinitas in the Kantō Soccer League Division 2.
