1987 UNLV Rebels football team
1987 UNLV Rebels football team. The Rebels played in the Pacific Coast Athletic Association (PCAA) during the 1987 NCAA Division I-A season. They were led by head coach Wayne Nunnely in his second year, with Carl Ferrill as offensive coordinator in his first season. Home games were at the Sam Boyd Silver Bowl in Whitney, Nevada. They finished 5–6 overall and 4–3 in the PCAA, tying for second place in the conference.
