The 1981 PGA Tour season, also known as the 1981 TPA Tour, was the 66th season of the PGA Tour, the main men’s golf tour in the United States. It ran from January 8 to October 25, 1981 and included 44 official events. Bill Rogers won the most events with four victories and was named PGA Player of the Year. Tom Kite topped the money list as the leading earner, while Mark O’Meara was named Rookie of the Year. This season marked 13 years since the Tour separated from the PGA of America.

In August 1981 the tour briefly adopted the name TPA Tour (Tournament Players Association) and then reverted to the PGA Tour name in mid-March 1982. Some events were sanctioned by the PGA Tour but did not carry official prize money and were not counted as official wins. The money list for the season was based on prize money won in U.S. dollars.
