Al-Nu'man II ibn al-Aswad
Al-Nu'man II ibn al-Aswad was the tenth king of the Lakhmid dynasty, ruling from 497 to 503 CE. He was the son of Al-Aswad bin Al-Mundhir and Umm al-Mulk bint 'Amr ibn Hajar al-Kindi, who was the sister of Kindite prince al-Harith ibn 'Amru. He came to the throne after Al-Mundhir II and was succeeded by Abu Ya'fur ibn Alqama. His son was Imru-l-Qays III ibn an-Numan. He belonged to the Lakhmid royal house and followed Nestorian Christianity. He died around August 503 CE.
