Festus Olabode Ola
Festus Olabode Ola (born 12 November 1956) is a Nigerian politician who served as the Senator for Ekiti Central, Ekiti State. He took office on 30 June 2009 after a Court of Appeal ruling and served until May 2011. A member of the Action Congress (AC), Ola has a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy (1982) and worked in the Nigerian Foreign Service from 1983 to 2004. In the 2007 elections, Adefemi Kila of the PDP was initially declared the winner, but the Court of Appeal later named Bode Ola the rightful winner of the April 2007 poll due to ballot irregularities. He was preceded by Clement Awoyelu and succeeded by Babafemi Ojudu.
