1966 Baltimore Colts season

The 1966 season was the Colts’ 14th in the NFL. They finished with a 9-5 record, placing second in the NFL Western Conference. The team was owned by Carroll Rosenbloom, with Don Shula as head coach and Don “Red” Kellett as general manager. Home games were played at Memorial Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland.

Key players: All-Pro tight end John Mackey. Pro Bowlers included John Mackey (TE), Ordell Braase (DE), Lenny Lyles (CB), and Johnny Unitas (QB).
