1958 Florida A&M Rattlers football team

The 1958 Florida A&M Rattlers football team represented Florida A&M University in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference during the 1958 season. Led by 14th-year head coach Jake Gaither, they finished 7–2 overall and 5–0 in the SIAC, won the conference championship, and outscored opponents 263 to 135. They played their home games at Bragg Memorial Stadium in Tallahassee. The Rattlers lost the Orange Blossom Classic 8–26 to Prairie View A&M, the undefeated black college national champion. The team's top players were Leroy Hardee, who had 704 rushing yards, 99 receiving yards, and 52 points, and Lee Royster, with 269 passing yards.
