1950–51 Western Kentucky State Hilltoppers basketball team
The 1950–51 Western Kentucky State Hilltoppers men's basketball team represented Western Kentucky State College (now Western Kentucky University) during the 1950–51 season. Led by Hall of Fame coach Edgar Diddle in his 29th year and featuring Rip Gish, who earned All-Ohio Valley Conference honors, the team also made the OVC Tournament team.
They finished 19–10 overall, with a 4–4 record in the Ohio Valley Conference. Home games were played at the Health & Physical Education Building. Assistant coach was Ted Hornback.
The Hilltoppers took part in the National Campus Basketball Tournament, reaching the first round. The NCBT was a new tournament started by Bradley University to address concerns about point shaving.
