1955–56 Michigan Wolverines men's basketball
The Michigan Wolverines played in the Big Ten Conference at Yost Field House. They finished 9–13 overall and 4–10 in the conference, tying for eighth place. William Perigo was the head coach in his fourth year, and Tom Jorgensen was the team captain. The leading scorer was Ron Kramer, who had 448 points in 22 games (an average of 20.3 points per game). Two players from the team were drafted into the NBA.
